I just bought this car w 21,000 miles and it was the dealership “show car” never owned... I spent $21,000 and feel like I got a great deal. I could have bought a brand new 1.2ltr base Civic, Jetta, Sentra, etc. instead I got a loaded muscle car for same money and the 100,000 mile warrantee as a certified car. I LOVE IT!!!

I didn't realize how many features I'm missing on my 16 RT. I bought mine used so I wasn't aware of all the extras. I don't even have rear heated seats or parking sensors lol

The Granite Crystal is a good color blend. Not too light, not too dark. Hyper black, Granite Crystal or darker shade rimes also make it look good but blend in and the rims don’t stick out. Ask me how I know!!!

Mike I think you should just mention the which grade of gasoline should use the particular vehicle while you are demonstrating the operation of gas tank. Cause many people wondering which gas they should put in a vehicles that youre reviewing. But its just my opinion it's up to you to reconsider or just ignore.

Dodge recommends 89 octane for the 5.7 V8. It will accept 87, but power and fuel economy will drop, especially in the Charger Pursuit, as it has a much more aggressive timing schedule.
Of note: Do not use a fuel over 89, as there are no further gains to be had.

How would this charger compare to my G8 GT in performance? Any mechanical issues must be aware of before owning one?
Thevalley California low 5's, 0-60. They run high 13's. Limited to 134 mph.
The V8 Charger Pursuits are quicker and faster, and the only V8 sedan in North America available with AWD. You can sometimes find a demo at the dealer, for well under $30,000.
Dodge has been improving these cars yearly. The 2016 V8 cars got an improved valvetrain for durability and quiet operation.

The RT version isn't the highest version there is other version that is higher like the 392 or the scatpack and the hellcat

I'm Torn on which charger I'm gonna buy. It's either a fully loaded charger RT or a base scat pack budget wise. I've been even looking into slightly used scat pack or srt392 for a reasonable price. I wish they produce more of the high ends but o guess they wanna keep the demand high and low supply to keep the price up.
Now it's making me wanna buy slightly used canary zl1 or a Shelby 500 for about the price of a scar pack/ SRT 392.
+Maxi Dale I got a 2015 R/T Road & Track. While I'd love to have the 110 extra hp from the Scat Pack, the well equipped Road & Track pack is such a wonderful car with plenty of juice. I'm super happy with it. The only thing my car didn't come with is the Beats audio, radar system (active braking and cruise), and the sunroof. All I can live without. The suede leather. which is standard with the Road & Track pack and optional over cloth on the Scat Pack, is oh so comfortable and basically slide proof! In my opinion, 110 hp is not worth the lack of features if you're thinking of a base model Scat. Even above base model, the R/T Road & Track has interior convenience features that aren't even optional on the Scat Pack.
Don't get me wrong, the Scat Pack is cool, but it's basically base model car with the SRT drivetrain and upgraded braking, not much else. Perfect for drag racing, but would feel like a base model car with a mammoth engine.
The reason why I'm so strong on comparing these two models(R/T Road & Track and NOT the regular R/T), is the Road & Track model I bought had almost the same sticker price as a base model Scat Pack. Base Scat sticker is 39,9 plus dealer, my sticker was 38,8 plus dealer. I rolled out the door, with taxes, for 36,000 flat in June.
+riceklown Is your charger your daily driver? And does the 3.06 in the '15 really drink up gas when just cruising round 70 to 80mph?
+Chris Johnson Yes, it's my daily driver, but I don't live far from work and it's all city driving to work.
At highway speeds the MPG meter says it gets about 18-20 mpg with all 8 cylinders firing but 24-26 when the MDS system drops it down to 4 cylinders for cruising. MDS is only under negligible loads though. I live in south Florida which is completely flat (32 feet above sea level is considered a 500 year flood zone!) so I get plenty of MDS mode time. Also I put on about 600-700 miles per month anyways, so I'm not the most fuel conscious person you've probably met.

Prices I seen start to fall in road n track territory so I wanted to know bout how yours do on a daily basis...much appreciated of your mpg numbers...and feedback. Did you test drive a RT with the 2.62 gear ratio before you bought the 3.07 gear ratio road and track?
